Project Overview
A web application that quantifies and visualizes soccer players' performance using a proprietary algorithm. Users input practice and match data and compare it against 100+ professional players using FIFA data. Subscription billing via Stripe was also implemented, and the platform was used in Switzerland and the UK.

Stripe Payments
Implements membership registration, login, and subscription billing, with scheduled tasks automated via django-crontab.

Automatically generates performance reports using Pillow, BeautifulSoup4, and Requests.

Challenge
Quantifying Skill Through Multiple Regression Analysis
Determining how to combine numerous variables - pass accuracy, shot power, dribble success rate, and more - into a single figure that accurately represents a player's overall ability. Selecting and weighting these variables proved to be a very difficult challenge.
Solution
Alignment with a Global Rating Standard
Used official FIFA player ratings as reference data and designed the regression model's coefficients, per position, to approach professional players' rating values. Repeated validation and adjustment against real player data achieved a reliable scoring system.
