01 // OVERVIEW
Project Overview
A task management mobile app designed for people whose energy comes in waves. Each day, users declare either "go" or "rest," and on rest days tasks are hidden so no guilt builds up. It features a pool where ideas and tasks can be promoted or demoted between each other, a monthly reflection screen with four display formats, and four color themes. All data is persisted locally, with no account required.
02 // KEY FEATURES
Key Features
Go/rest declaration and zero-guilt design
Swipe up or down to declare today as a "go day" or a "rest day." On rest days, the task screen becomes a quiet, empty state, so no guilt builds up over incomplete tasks. The declaration resets automatically at the date change and streaks are never carried over.
Two-way promotion between tasks and ideas
Items can move freely between the pool (idea storage) and tasks. Drag an idea up to promote it to a task, or drag a task down to demote it to an idea. Unlike tasks, which only appear on go days, the pool is always accessible.
Four color themes and reflection
Users can switch between four color schemes (warm x cool, warm, cool, and monochrome) and system/light/dark appearance within the app. The reflection screen displays the monthly count of go/rest days in four formats: calendar, bar chart, waveform, and dots.

Solution
Deliberately excluding streak design
Intentionally omitted the streaks, consecutive-day counts, and penalties common in typical task apps. To achieve an experience of never blaming yourself for a day you skipped, the rest declaration is tied to that specific date and is not carried over to the next day.
